Uruguay is a small country located in an advantageous strategic
position in the center of the MERCOSUR (Southern Common
Market) region in South America, an area which integrates
a common market of 200 million consumers and a cattle population
of 300 million ruminants. The economy of the region depends
largely on the land produce, specially farming and cattle
growth, being the Veterinary speciality and the Laboratory
Diagnosticians key to these countries' production in South
America.
We expect to see you here in Uruguay in 2005. We are proud
to have been honored by the WAVLD to host this event in
our country, and we hope you enjoy our land and our culture
when you come.
We will be sending you further information and we invite
all companies and institutions to participate in the scientific
program or in the commercial and technical exhibition.
Yours
sincerely,
Dr.
Analía Cobo
President
WAVLD Congress
